Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Financial information should be usable by everyone, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, need larger text, or cannot rely on colour to distinguish meaning.

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This page is published as an HTML document rather than a PDF, because a PDF is a considerably worse accessibility artefact than a web page.

What we have implemented

• A skip link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, meeting non-text contrast requirements.
• Full keyboard operation, including arrow-key navigation for tabs, segmented controls, and the ticker search combobox.
• Screen-reader semantics: correct heading order, aria-current on active navigation, aria-sort on sortable tables, and announced form errors.
• Colour is never the only carrier of meaning. Every price change pairs a directional glyph with a signed number, and every pillar verdict states Pass or Fail in words.
• Contrast: body text and interactive labels meet or exceed 4.5:1, and large text and UI components meet 3:1.
• Chart colours validated for colour-vision deficiency, with a table view available as an equivalent for every chart.
• Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on primary actions.
• The prefers-reduced-motion setting is honoured globally, including stopping the market ticker.
• Labels above inputs, never placeholder-as-label, with errors linked by aria-describedby.

Known limitations

We would rather state these than imply the work is finished.

• Wide financial tables require horizontal scrolling on small screens. The table scrolls within its own container so the page never scrolls sideways, but the interaction is still harder on a phone.
• Complex charts convey trend visually. A table view is provided for each, but the visual comparison itself is not fully replicated in text.
• Some third-party embeds may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site.

• NVDA and JAWS on Windows
• VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
• Keyboard-only navigation in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
• Browser zoom to 200% and operating-system text scaling

If any part of this site prevents you from doing something, tell us and we will treat it as a defect rather than a feature request. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using.

We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days and will tell you our plan and timeline, including where a fix will take time.
